Unicycles

Our team rides a variety of unicycles. In the interest of time and not wanting to make an elaborate photo gallery, I will show and list them one at a time below.

Custom Nimbus 36

C.T.'s touring cycle is a 36" nimbus with custom T7 handlebar set. He rides 110mm cranks on flat tours and 125's on hilly terrain. His pedals of choice are SNAFU platforms and the Kris Holm freeride saddle is always the best for this type of riding. In addition to this hardware, he also has a small bike bag on the back of the frame, two bottle cages, a cateye wireless cycling computer and the signature Pikachu valve cap.

Custom Nimbus 36

Joe's 36" is similar to CT's unicycle with a few small changes. He uses thinner stainless steel spokes to save weight as well as longer 125mm cranks for general purpose riding. His pedals are standard DX pedals and he has one bottle cage and a slightly larger bike pack. He also has a wireless cycling computer and T7 handle to hold it all.

Nimbus 29er

Guy has a very interesting breed of unicycle. It started as a 29" Nimbus and was completely rebuilt by C.T. before he parted ways with it. It has a 29" Bontrager off road tire, black flat fork Nimbus X frame, 125mm cranks with DX pedals and an interesting handle known as the GB4. This is a rare hand made handle that sees very small production numbers and was the finest touring handle available before the T7 was released last fall. All in all, this unicycle has been completely replaced since its purchase with excepttion to the spokes and rim.

Torker 24

Alex Rides a modified torker 24" DX. This bombproof unicycle was made even stronger as Alex welded a new rounded crown to the top of the frame for added support as he gaps huge stair sets and hits the especially rough trails. He rides large splined cranks which are much stronger than most road and freestyle crank and hub sets as well as Jim Cielencki pedals to make sure he dosesn't lose his footing in mid air.

20

Devin Rides a 24" torker for general transportation but his focus is trials and street. For this reason, he can often be seen riding this trials setup. Qu-Ax, a German unicycling manufacturer, is known for strength and good craftsmanship. This Qu-Ax is a rebranded Sun BFR double walled rim, thick splined hub with 145mm cranks and an inflatable seat for maximum comfort.

Kris Holm 24

This is C.T.'s primary trials unicycle at the present time until he purchases a 20". It features a freeride gel saddle, 150mm KH moment cranks on an ISIS hub and Jim C pedals. As most trials cyclists and BMX riders can tell you, these are the pedals to use hands down. It is shown with its taller off road seatpost attached however recently it has been fitted with a short post for better trials riding.

Torker 24 LX

This is the cycle to learn on as agreed by almost all unicyclists here. It is only about $100 but is strong enough to take a beating. Brent's torker LX features 125mm cranks and SNAFU platform pedals to promote its awesomeness. He also added stickers since we all know that stickers make a unicycle faster
